Internet Price Maintenance?

Now I know that you wont believe me when I say that “I am about to take up cycling again after a break of 35 years” – well I am!

With my dodgy knee I took some professional advice at our local pro bike shop who after discussion about use, routes etc showed me a Giant Roam 2 2016 hybrid bike which looks ideal. Quoting me £499 they would get one in to stock from the wholesalers for me to try.

Now being curious about any manufacturer – wholesaler – retailer relationship due to my job role I had a quick look on the internet. What I found was VERY interesting.

Now if this is not price maintenance/fixing I do not know what is. I must find out from the retailer this afternoon how the manufacturer/wholesaler are legally/illegally managing to do this.
