Stanwick Six – Holiday to the Sun!
It has only taken three years for this Stanwick Six holiday to come around. We initially booked a week tour down through France, ending up at a lovely villa for a week in Sainte Maxime, just across the bay from St Tropez. So where are we going? Zante, of course!
After numerous cancellations caused mainly by Covid, rearranging of flights and ultimately a cancellation by the villa owners in France, we decided to chase the sun in Greece.
The outgoing easyJet flight shows seven invoices and changes over the past three years!
Naturally, we cannot have a blog about Zante/Zakynthos without including the most overused picture by the Greek tourist board.
This picture was actually taken by myself in September 2005. To get the shot, you must walk out on a “gangplank” and lean over the edge. It’s not for the fainthearted!
