Morning After

Mrs CT is remarkably awake and alive this morning after her cocktail fuelled sleep. Drawing the curtains reveals a beautiful and surprising view from a central London hotel.

Once again breakfast at Malmaison causes me to deduct one point from their otherwise excellent rating. Readers of this blog may remember the “HP incident” at the Leeds Mal a little while ago. Although only trivial matters, the fact that there was a lack of teaspoons with our cups and my sausage went AWOL somewhere between the kitchen and the table, a hotel of this rating should do better. (That last point is not a euphemism for anything!)
