Carvoeiro 2019 – Day 8

Hang on. Aren’t there a few days missing in this sequence? Yes there are. Simply because some days I am too chilled/busy to write an update.

Yesterday 4 of us went to a beach a little drive away with stunning scenery and an excellent little beach restaurant, oStop. Watch the following video for highlights.

Only 4 of you? Yes the holiday bug strikes again. Dr Dutch gains another fee and the pharmacy sells more antibiotics. Nelson, the property manager eventually put in an appearance and declares the reason for his absence was illness. The resort has the lurgy! Beware Mr & Mrs A who are coming over next week.

As you know food & drink plays an important part of our holidays. The middle Sunday has been declared “Sangria Sunday” by Mr R who duly made 4 litres of the stuff which included, as well as red wine and half a supermarket load of fruit, Cointreau and the local brandy Macieira. Food – ribs and a lot of them.

All this food and booze left us all a little sleepy so I will leave you with some pictures of what else we have been eating this past week. I will do a review of all the restaurants we visited when we return.
